The Archive Team

Website Editorial Strategy

This website is an attempt to reflect the large quantity of archive material held in the Archives. The website editorial strategy is to try and present a balanced history of Scouting in Sheffield and consequently not all archive material is presented fully on this website. Similarly, the archives contain material which is not of immediate relevance to the history. Again, this is not fully presented on this site.

Errors and Omissions

Whilst every effort has been made to minimise errors and omissions, it is inevitable that they will occur. Some of the archives are based on uncorroborated single statements or personal memories. Visitors to the site are invited to contact us with corrections and amendments, both historical and technical.
