Scouting Record: Joined the
160th (Hartshead) Group in 1925 as a Wolf Cub, becoming a Scout three years later. Later became a Patrol Leader. Transferred to 145th (St Silas').
Four years later, began training and assisting with the Cub Pack. In September 1938 received a Cub Master warrant. On joining the Forces, became a member of 141st (Headquarters) Rover Crew.
Whilst stationed at Dover joined a Rover Crew there and assisted with a local Scout Troop.
