Description |
Medal of Merit of Capt William Harland. The rear is engraved 27-1-32 and it is stamped 'Collins London'. The use of the swastika by Imperial Headquarters in Scout medals etc was discontinued in 1934. The swastika is the symbol of auspiciousness in Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. |
