"Venture Scouts Grounded in safety moves" Report in the
local press giving details of Venture Scouts being advised
that it was on safety grounds that a event to abseil down
the side of the Town Hall was
cancelled. This was to celebrate 21 years of Venture Scouting
and was one of a group of events held in the City centre.
Money raised would go to Sherpa '88' Project. - 30 September 1988.
